The Third Annual Valentine's Day Horror Movie Marathon
This year's marathon has a little something for everyone, assuming that everyone likes aliens and Kurt Russell in a giant campaign hat as much as I do.
Movies vs. Games
It's a battle of the genres, where the loser gets mocked and the winner is mocked only slightly less!
THE DANGERS OF DEFINING "GENRE"
Be careful trying to discuss where to place a unique game when surrounded by Asperger's sufferers.

It was a time when, if a game let you take damage without instantly dying, you told that game to fuck off and played without getting hit anyway.

That's one of the huge differences in the mentality of folks then vs now when it comes to difficulty.
TEENAGER: "Old games is to hard."
ME: "You mean the old arcade games or NES era? Because pretty much anything that isn't Robotron isn't THAT bad. And this is blacktually one of the easier Castlevania titles."
TEENAGER: "Yuh-huh! I here you're shit on this forum all the time how games wasn't that hard! Prove it."
ME: "Okay."

I've heard people call a game broken because it's too hard. I just sit them down in front of Riven and tell them to get out of the first room. They usually throw a fit with the WASD and arrow keys before giving up and calling it the worst FPS they've ever played.

I think I'll make that happen, since emulation seems to be the smoothest way I can get gayme footage. If I remember right, there's a safe spot to take out Dracula's first form in that one without having to move around too much, and then quickly taking out the second form as he comes from the far left side. Almost the Xact same tactics used against Blacula in Toccata of Pedophilia, in fact.
